Our Story

We have become a power team. We didn’t have one of those singular moments where a lightbulb went off. For us, we simply went through the process of being together and being apart, until we gradually solidified into a team — Team Travelers, Team Weirdo, Team Let’s-just-Netflix all weekend. We progressively brought out the best in each other, realized we could be around each other 24/7 and all of a sudden we knew it was everlasting love.

Traveling has changed the way of seeing the world around us,

Learning about other cultures and how everyone fits into it.

Elena Coffey

Elena is an award-winning Art Director who has been in the Los Angeles creative industry for the past two decades. From an early age, she was faced with many obstacles, including moving between different countries and an eagerness to leave her hometown earned her an Art high-school scholarship to NYC. Her travels to over 20 countries have expanded her perception of people, culture, and design. Elena has studied at Pratt Institute and Art Institute, and has a Masters’s degree from South Florida University and University of Missouri in both psychology and design.

Jay Coffey

Jay was born in Missouri and still has his Midwestern values, after living in California for almost 20 years. As difficult as it was to leave the place he’d grown up and all his friends and family, he set out on a journey after completing University to Southern California for bigger opportunities and cultural growth. He holds a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University and has worked at Wells Fargo for the better part of 21 years. He has achieved some pinnacle goals and served the last 10 years as an Officer of the Bank. Music, friends and traveling have always been Jay’s major passions, seeing almost every (good) band imaginable live, staying closely in touch with friends from childhood and growing up.
